Hefzallah: We are looking forward to more support..and the R8 needs to complete roads and infrastructure
Bahaa Hefzallah, General Manager of Aqar Misr Developments, said that the New Administrative Capital needs to show what has been accomplished because the volume of the implemented works is impressive, but it needs more promotion.
He added that there is an urgent need to organize a global event in which heads of state, and invites investors and personalities from all over the world so that the whole world can witness the scale of achievement and dazzling that took place in the towers area, the government district and the R3, as well as government and private projects that witness advanced completion rates.
Hefzallah pointed out that despite the volume of works that have been implemented, the R8 region needs support from the Administrative Capital Company, especially with regard to road and infrastructure works, to help investors in this region complete and promote their projects, adding that the works in the residential part in the region are proceeding at great rates. It is good, but the commercial one needs time to market it, especially since the population density in this area will not appear before four years.
He stressed that the investor in any commercial activity is looking for a suitable population density to operate his activity, so the region needs to expedite the completion of roads and infrastructure to encourage customers to build them, which in turn will help revitalize the commercial parts of residential projects.
The general manager of Aqar Misr Developments said that the company succeeded in completing 65% of the construction of the Anakaji compound in the New Administrative Capital, and marketing more than 75% of the project, adding that the construction work is proceeding strongly, as the company started the work of the external facades and entrances.
“Anakaji” compound is located in one of the most distinguished areas of the R8, on an area of 20 acres, and includes 10 residential buildings, each building has 4 separate entrances, with a ground height and 7 floors. The project includes 800 units, at an investment cost estimated at 1.4 billion pounds. It also includes a club. A social and cultural center, green spaces, so that the built-up area of the project does not exceed 18% of the total area, indicating that the project took into account modern, modern designs that suit different tastes.
He added that the administrative capital dazzles everyone who visits it, whether investors, customers or foreign guests, but it only needs a strong marketing plan supported by the state, similar to the successful marketing programs implemented by a number of neighboring countries for its projects, especially since the new administrative capital project has achieved tangible success on the ground.
He stressed the need for the opening ceremony of the new administrative capital to be held on a global level, to which important and official figures from all countries of the world are invited, and it is publicized and promoted strongly so that this giant project is shown as it deserves.
