Emtelaak, Egypt’s leading digital real estate investment platform, has announced its strategic participation in two of the most prominent global events this November: The Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, and MAPIC in Cannes, France. This dual presence highlights Emtelaak’s commitment to innovation, its expansion into international markets, and reinforces its position as a leading PropTech company in the Middle East and North Africa.
Emtelaak has been officially invited to join the prestigious BETA program for startups at Web Summit 2025 (November 10–13), one of the world’s largest technology conferences, bringing together over 70,000 technology leaders, investors, and startups from more than 160 countries. This invitation underscores the strength of Emtelaak’s AI-powered fractional ownership platform, which allows Egyptian and international investors to acquire shares in carefully selected development projects without fully owning the property, a solution that redefines real estate investment, making it more accessible and profitable.
Mr. Magdy El Yamani, CEO of Emtelaak, commented: “Being selected for the BETA program at Web Summit 2025 is an honor and a clear signal that Egyptian PropTech is competing on the global stage. At this prestigious summit, we proudly represent both Emtelaak and Egypt, showcasing a successful model that is redefining real estate investment in emerging markets.”
During the summit, Emtelaak will present its operational model (MVP) and dual business model (B2B/B2C), alongside its regulatory achievements, including obtaining a license from Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority and approval from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to join its Innovation Fund, reflecting operational maturity and readiness for regional and global expansion.
Simultaneously, Emtelaak will participate in MAPIC 2025 in Cannes, France (November 4–6), the premier international event for retail real estate. Through this participation, the company aims to build strategic relationships with international investors and institutional funds seeking opportunities in emerging markets, attract global brands to its commercial real estate projects, and adopt leading global practices in sustainability, digital innovation, and asset management.
The Egyptian delegation includes Mr. Walid Shaarawy, Co-CEO, Mr. Ahmed Beisar, Business Development Director, and representatives from Uptown 6 October Group, as part of a strategic partnership to strengthen the integration between real estate development and investment technology.
Recently, Emtelaak was honored with the “Best Innovator in Real Estate Technology 2024” award by Invest-Gate’s ACE Awards, recognizing its pioneering role in delivering innovative digital investment solutions. These solutions include legal contract reviews, feasibility studies, real-time investment tracking, and an online marketplace for reselling property shares, all fully compliant with Sharia law. The company has also established strategic partnerships with Uptown 6 October for real estate development and Fawry Dahab for digital payment solutions, providing investors with a seamless, secure, and technology-driven investment experience.
Mr. El Yamani concluded: “Our participation in Web Summit and MAPIC delivers a clear message that Egyptian innovation is capable of competing on a global scale and that technology can serve as a bridge connecting the Egyptian real estate market with international capital and expertise. We remain committed to becoming the leading digital real estate investment platform in the Middle East, and our presence at these events paves the way for expansion into new markets in the years ahead.”
