In conjunction with its plan for pumping investments into Egypt’s diverse economic sectors and taking part in the national development and reconstruction plan, the subsidiary of Capriole Group EGY Credit unveiled its own expansion plan for the manufacturing sector: upgrading EGY Credit’s cement plant spanning an area of 18,000sqm in Badr City.
Chairperson of Capriole Group Eng. Mohamed Mufeed said that expanding Capriole Group’s EGY Credit fulfills the group’s strategy for participating in the state-adopted development and reconstruction plan, adding value and own style to all developmental sectors as well as sharing expertise it obtained through working abroad for more than 30 years during which it carried out high-quality projects in diverse economic sectors and established an outstanding brand for the group.
While highlighting its unwavering confidence in the political leadership’s vision, EGY Credit started preparing studies to enter the realm of manufacturing cement products back in 2016, in parallel with the launch of Egypt’s major reform plan by President Abd El Fattah El Sisi and mega developmental projects, namely the New Administrative Capital, the New Alamein city, the 4th Generation Cities and massive infrastructure and services projects in various sectors
“The group picked Badr city owing to its proximity to the New Administrative Capital’s industrial cities and thus ensured East Cairo cities and mega projects executed there are fully covered by EGY Credit’s products.
Badr City is also in close proximity to all ring roads, including the Regional Ring Road and the Middle Ring Road.
The company sealed a contract with German-based Zenith company specializing in the world’s best cement-manufacturing machine. The machine has already been set up, installed and tested in 2017 and the plant, spanning a built-up area of 9500m, was inaugurated and two production lines were operationalized, one for producing the interlock that is used in covering pavements and streets at a capacity of 800,000 m annually and the other for demarcating roads and pavements at a capacity of 1440,000 m per year, he explained.
EGY Credit started to redouble the plants sizes and production lines to 18,000m and 2 respectively. One production line will produce tiles and the other blocks at a capacity of 2.5mln m per year, together with 3 lines for the production of interlock at a capacity of 2.4mln m per year, he elaborated.
“In the span of the past four years, EGY Credit collaborated with leading road and construction companies in Egypt, including the Arab Contractors, Hassan Allam Sons, Al Rowad, New Giza, the Egyptian Resorts Company and Curve Landscape.”
Additionally, the company collaborated with the New Urban Communities Authority in the execution of projects in New Cairo, New Damietta and New Mansoura, he added.
The company was keen to bring about high-end products and to adhere to standard specifications and supply dates, a feat that enabled the company to win the confidence of top companies and governmental organizations in record time, he maintained.
Amongst epic projects EGY Credit partook are the New Administrative Capital’s Al Fattaah Al Aleem Mosque, Embassies Suburb, the Parliament, the Green River and the Unknown Soldier Memorial.
In respect to sea ports, the company partook in Dubai-Sokhna Ports project and East Bypass Port. In respect to airports, the company partook in revamping Cairo Airport. Further still, the company took part in developing new cities, including New Damietta, New Mansoura, New Cairo and Suez city.
Also, the company contributed to myriad projects, such as Sadat city’s National project for Livestock Breeding, Greenhouses , Al Galala Marble Complex, Al Galala King Fahd University, Al Negela’s Fish Breeding, Dar Misr Towers and Residences, together with projects for the renovation of tourist villages and resorts on behalf of leading companies such as Emaar Misr, New Giza, SODIC and Palm Hills.
EGY Credit also worked with Egypt’s top consultancies, such as ACG, Arab Consulting Engineers Moharram. Bakhoum, Shaker Consultancy Group, Sights Consultancy, Engineering Consulting Center, Dar El Handasah, Al Amar Consulting Group, Water World.
