BetterMix Ready Mix Concrete and NCC for Building Chemicals honored success partners from the major contracting companies and consulting offices in Egypt during the past years, in appreciation and gratitude for the fruitful and constructive cooperation in the completion of a number of major national and urban projects during the last period.
Sherif Adly BetterMix CEO said during his speech at the honoring ceremony, that during the past five years Egypt witnessed an unprecedented urban renaissance and the implementation of a huge number of major national projects, infrastructure, and the construction of bridges and tunnels that surpassed what Egypt had accomplished in the past 60 years, which caused a great activity status in the field of building and construction, in cooperation with major consulting offices in Egypt, such as Dar Al-Handasah, ECG, Moharram Bakhoum’s office, Dr. Ashraf Ragab’s office, Dr. Omaima’s office, Ehaf’s office, Khatib and Alami’s office.
He added that BetterMix and NCC shared the honor of participation in the most important of these projects with major contracting companies with long experience and the greatest influence in the construction and building sector, such as the Arab Contractors Company, Hassan Allam, Redcon, Al Rowad, Edex, Concrete Plus, Dar Al Alamia, Al Marasem, Al Hazek, Al Shorouk, Al Saada and Samco And the Ghorabli and Atrim.
Adly stated that construction and reconstruction periods that Egypt witnessed recently were a major reason for rehabilitating Egyptian companies, supporting their expertise in the construction industry, intensifying training and learning for workers in the field in various real estate projects, and finding alternative solutions to obstacles facing them, which made them capable of implementing major national projects with Egyptian hands with similar quality and capabilities to the European countries, which let us now be the most qualified to export the construction industry and transfer Egypt’s experiences in development and construction to neighboring Arab countries, as we become the most capable of rebuilding in Libya, Iraq and Gaza.
Adly said that BetterMix is a part from Better Home group which invest in real estate, which started operating in the Egyptian market for nearly 17 years and has many residential, administrative and commercial real estate projects in various vital areas in Egypt.
He explained that BetterMix company owns 6 ready-mix concrete plants in New Cairo, 6th of October and 10th of Ramadan, and three others in the Administrative Capital equipped with the latest equipment from pumps of different lengths, giant stationary pumps, hydraulic concrete distributors, with the latest technology, in addition to their preventive maintenance and operational efficiency plan to ensure maximum utilization of the stations’ production capacity, and its annual production in 2021 exceeds one million cubic meters of ready-mix concrete, expecting that their production will be doubled during 2022 as a result of the increasing major urban works and the promising opportunities that the Egyptian market enjoys.
Adly pointed that NCC company specialized in the production of construction chemicals for the global X-Calibur under a license from X-Calibur International, is a company based on modern technology based in the United States of America, which develops building and construction chemicals all over the world.
He added that NCC factory is located in the industrial district in New Cairo, provides specialized products that introduce solutions for construction problems including concrete additives, concrete restoration, injection materials, planting materials, filling joints, isolation materials, surface treatment materials, epoxies and floors, tile adhesives and protection paints, specially the anti-carbonation paints in addition to carbon fiber reinforcement products.
